Beaver & Rebecca Update
Dear Friends and Family,
It has been a while since we last wrote to update you - these last months, weeks, and especially the last
few days have been quite full! We are so very pleased and excited to be able to inform you that there
is now a new little missionary in training in this world....her name is Zoe Grace!!! She was born
Oct. 15 at 5:15 in the morning in Hayden, ID at Dayspring midwifery clinic. She weighed 8 lbs, 9 oz.
and was 20 inches long!! We'll suffice to say that the birthing experience was amazingly intense,
but we are so thrilled to be parents now! We aren't getting much sleep while enjoying this little
miracle, but it sure is fun! We're trying to cherish every moment!
One of the highlights of our summer was being a part of the GMI (Gospel Ministry International) group
at the pathfinder camporee in Oshkosh, WI. We flew the Cessna 182 that is dedicated to Mongolia to
Osh-kosh, and the pathfinders there got to see first-hand the plane that will soon be flying the sick
and injured to medical help in Mongolia. As groups of young people sat or stood by the airplanes,
listening to Beaver and the other mission pilots tell about flying and their experience in missions,
it occurred to us that inspiring our young people in mission service is a vital part of our work.
Keeping our young people keeping the faith!!!
Joshua and Ruth Dally along with their young son Caleb are two doctors that are currently preparing to
launch into medical mission work with us in Mongolia. We are thrilled that God has impressed the needs
of the Mongolian people on their hearts, and we ask your prayers for them as they seek to finalize
their education here in the states and head to Mongolia to begin language training and their work there.
Some specific things to pray for is the receipt of their medical licenses and obtaining Joshua's
commercial pilot's training.
Right now we are staying in Idaho in a camp trailer on Rebecca's parents property. Beaver has been
blessed to find nursing work in the area, and being with family has been a pleasant treat.
Our plans are to return to Mongolia this winter, but we are still seeking God's clear direction in
this matter.
The airplane received quite a bit of labor and attention this summer, and praise the Lord the avionics
work and interior work are complete. Through your faithful financial support, this next month will
find these bills completely paid. The engine conversion is the biggest financial hurdle we have to
overcome with the total cost increasing with market changes to $135,000. We have checked many times
with the company, seeking to get the conversion started with a down payment, but to no avail.
We know that God will provide the funds when the time is right. In the mean time, we will
continue to work with education and medical needs in Mongolia.
Please pray with us for these needs and for specific direction regarding the timing of our return
and the work that we can do now to share Jesus with the people of Mongolia!
Praying God will bless each of you and that you too will follow God's will for your life.
Jesus is coming soon! We claim the promise found in Psalm 145:18.
"The Lord is night unto all that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth."
Love,
Beaver, Rebecca and Zoe Grace
